Advertisers are digitally inserting 3D product placement ads in scenes of old movies and TV show reruns


In the photo above, you can see a 2007 rerun scene of the show “How I Met Your Mother” featuring a digitally inserted 3D ad for the 2011 movie “Zookeeper”. This is done to monetize aging movies and TV shows by inserting relevant and up to date products and brands.
