To stop theft of Christmas trees, they were sprayed with fox urine which when thaws, smells horrific


To combat the theft of Christmas trees around the holiday, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln sprayed their trees with fox urine, which freezes and has no odor. Once the thieves place the trees indoor, the urine thaws and has such a terrible smell that causes eye watering.
